KINDNESS ATM

The goal of Daniella's Kindness ATM project was to bring a smile to the face of children at the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.

Using the remaining 50% of funds from Daniella's t-shirt project after donating half to WIZO, she was able to develop in collaboration with Words Count the prototype. The Kindness ATM is a machine in which after receiving a special access code, the user was provided with gift options. In choosing a gift, they learn that they have in fact received two gifts! One to keep, and one to share with whom they choose as a reward for their gentleness, creating a ripple of kindness. The children were also able to nominate hospital staff for their kindness, respect, positivity, affection and good energy so that they, too, could receive an access code to the Kindness ATM.

Sharing and being kind has been proven to increase happiness.

Special thanks to Words Count US and Kindness ATM for making this a reality!
